This brochure covers the rules that govern your rights Privacy Rights with accounts at Edco Federal Credit Union. Edco Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial institution and is committed to providing our members with products and service to meet their financial needs.

The officers, directors, members of the various committees and employees of Edco Federal Credit Union are committed to protecting member privacy. As a financial institution, the board realizes that member trust is of the utmost importance.

Information We Collect

Edco Federal Credit Union collects nonpublic personal information from the following sources:

•Information we receive from members on signature cards, loan applications or other forms (i.e. Credit Union web site);

•Information about your transactions with Edco Federal Credit Union or others, including Internet transactions;

•Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency; and

•Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms. This may be obtained from current or past employers or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions.

Information We Disclose About You

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information to anyone, except as permitted by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on the members behalf, conduct the operations of this credit union, follow the members instructions, or protect the security of our financial records.

The Credit Union may also disclose information to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. This information may be obtained from applications or other forms.

If membership is terminated with us, we will not share information we have collected about the member, except as permitted by law.

Confidentiality and Security

Edco Federal Credit Union restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
